"Faith in the local church
...for raising up workers for the harvest field"
Faith in the Local church is a conference run for local churches by local churches in North London. It is held at St John’s Downshire Hill in Hampstead. The theme for this, it’s eighth, year picks up Jesus' words in Matthew 9:37,38:
‘The harvest is plentiful but the
workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out
workers into his harvest field.’
God finds his workers in his local churches - How can we as local churches better pray for these workers for the harvest field, identify them, nurture them, equip them and liberate them for life-saving, God-glorifying gospel work. Come and join us as we seek to spur one another on to be the churches that God would have us be in obedience to Jesus' commands
The speakers this year are:
Archie Poulos - teaches in the Ministry Department of Moore Theological College in
Sydney. “I love to see the gospel go forward to all sorts of different
cultures”. Archie is married to Ainsley and they have three children,
Georgie, Zoe and Archie. His passion is to see Sydney come under the
sound of the gospel.
Angus Macleay - is the Minister of St Nicholas, Sevenoaks. Angus is married to Sue with
two children, Rachel and Jamie. Before ordination he worked as a
solicitor in London for a few years
Paul Dawson - is the Minister of St Andrew’s, Chelsea. Andrew is married to Penny.
